NEW CARPET

Alhamdulillah, the floor levelling and the new carpet installation is now complete. Thank you for your patience during this process. You can see the new carpet in our photo gallery!  JazakAllahu Khaire to Br. Abdo Tasse for selecting and donating the new carpet. May Allah reward everyone who contributes their money, time and energy to the masjid! Special thanks to Br. Idris Knapp who has put in many extra hours during the renovation process and who always works tirelessly to keep the masjid running smoothly. JazakAllahu Khaire!!

FUNDRAISING DINNER:  NOVEMBER 26, 2011

May Allah (SW) bless and reward everyone who supported the WCM fundraiser on Saturday, November 26, 2011. Alhamdulillah, it was a very successful event. About 260 people attended and we were able to raise approximately $20,000. Special thanks to the many volunteers who helped with presentation, set-up, ticket collections, pledge collections and clean-up. Also, thank you to Charisma Restaurant who catered the dinner and Br. Sarowar Mian of Giant Pizza who generously donated the children's meal. The event would not have been possible without all your participation and support. If you were unable to attend the fundraiser and would still like to donate, please visit the DONATE page. Or, you may give your donations to Br. Idris Knapp at the Winnipeg Central Mosque. All donations will go to outstanding costs from summer expenses (including the new AC and roof repair) as well as upcoming renovation and maintenance costs, including new carpet installation and floor leveling.
