Youth Halaqa: History of Talented Muslims

At this month's Youth Halaqa, Br. Idris Elbakri will speak on the History of Talented Muslims, from 7-9p.m. on Friday, June 24, at the Winnipeg Grand Mosque (2445 Waverely). All ages are welcome. Pizza is provided. To request a ride or get more information, please e-mail admin@winnipegmuslims.ca .

Fundraising Lunch for Syria

Islam Alive is organizing a fundraising lunch on Sunday, June 19, 1-4 p.m. at the Winnipeg Grand Mosque (2445 Waverley). All funds collected will be sent to Islamic Relief for its humanitarian work in Syria. The event is open to all.

Community Spiritual Night

The next Community Spiritual Night will be held on Saturday, June 4, from 9:30-11p.m. at the Winnipeg Grand Mosque (2445 Waverley). The evening includes spiritual reminders and refreshments. All are welcome.

Community Pancake Breakfast

The Youth Halaqa committee is holding a fundraising pancake breakfast on Sunday, May 22, 9a.m. - 12p.m. at the Winnipeg Grand Mosque (2445 Waverley), to seek the community's input on the monthly halaqas. At 10a.m.  Sh. Ismael will speak briefly on "Family Ties in Islam." All are welcome. For more information, please contact admin@winnipegmuslims.ca.

Your Vote Matters

The Canadian Muslim Leadership Institute presents "Your Vote Matters: A Political Forum for Canadian Muslims", on Saturday, April 23, 2-5:30p.m., at the Winnipeg Central Mosque (715 Ellice). This event is an opportunity for Canadian Muslims to learn more about the electoral process in Canada and to ask questions to representatives from political parties.
